At the most recent Junior Blues meeting, it was decided to organise another sponsored walk, this time to the Lisburn Distillery v Linfield fixture on Saturday, 19 March 2005.

As a special treat for those members who patrticipate in the walk, there will be the opportunity to take part in 6 a side football games on the Windsor Park pitch before the Linfield v Loughgall game on April 16.

Further details on the walk will be provided in due course and it is hoped that sponsor forms will be available for distribution at the Junior Blues meeting on December 11.

This will be the 4th Junior Blues Sponsored event.

In 2002 the Junior Blues raised over £650 by taking part in a sponsored penalty shoot out prior to the final home game with Omagh Town.

In 2003 the Junior Blues raised over £1300 by taking part in a sponsored walk to the Lisburn Distillery v Linfield game in March that year.

In 2004 the Junior Blues raised over £1700 by taking part in 6 a side football games on the Windsor Park pitch before the Linfield v Lisburn Distillery game on 13 March.
