A Junior Blues meeting on Saturday backed a reccommendation that £500 be donated, if required to the new Clean Sweep lounge to assist with the provision of a pool table and other machines for young people in the new lounge which was officially opened by Noel Bailie and David Jeffrey last Saturday.

Plans to install such equipment have been frustrated in recent times due to various suppliers letting us down at the last moment but the Junior Blues would nevertheless like to acknowledge the vallient efforts of Stephen Dickson, Paul Oakley, Michael Jones and Jim McMinn in trying to resolve this particular issue.

We remain very hopeful that at the very least there will be a pool table and large screen TV in the lounge on the next occasion when it's open ( 23 Sept. v Cliftonville ).
