Blaine's spirits lifted

Blaine Andrews was the Junior Blues Linfield mascot at Linfield's home game with Limavady United last season.

Blaine has been very ill for the last couple of weeks and he has been cared for in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

After Linfield's home victory over Institute on Saturday, Blaine was visted in hospital by his favourite Linfield players, Mark Picking and Glenn Ferguson.

The players brought with them a "Get Well Soon" card signed by all the players, as well as a small gift on behalf of the Junior Blues.

Blaine was thrilled to meet his favourite players and the special occasion helped raise his spirits after what has been a tough time for the Dundonald youngster.

Everyone at Linfield wishes Blaine a speedy recovery and hopes to see him back at Windsor Park as soon as possible.
