Aimee and Curtis in the spotlight

Four year old Junior Blues member Aimee McMinn is set to be featured in a January episode of UTV's "School around the corner".

Aimee will be wearing her Linfield kit and will be talking about David Jeffrey and her love for the Blues during the recording at Wheatfield Primary School in North Belfast.

Six year old local boy Curtis Martin has become a very popular member of the Junior Blues and is a regular supporter at Linfield games. Curtis was of course the unfortunate victim of an horrific attack a few weeks before Glasgow Rangers last visit to Windsor Park.

The Martin family have agreed to a request from the BBC for Curtis's plight to be highlighted on a BBC School's production in which other young people are warned of the consequences of sectarian hatred and violence.

Curtis was one of the twelve Linfield mascots for the recent Christmas game against Glentoran.
