The following piece was written by Orangefield Primary School pupil, Travis McClurg who has the name of his favourite player, Pat McShane, proudly displayed on the back of his Linfield shirt.

"Pat McShane is my favourite footballer in the whole world. I love the way he bombs down the wing and fires balls into the box and the way he tackles is brilliant.

Pat waves up at me in the stand before every game and that makes me feel fantastic. One of my favourite moments was when he scored that goal against Dungannon and jumped on Big Davy.It was a screamer and very important for our season. Pat will always be my favourite player and I hope he stays at Windsor for a long time."
