CLIC / Sargeant say thanks

Before the recent home game with Newry City several members of the Junior Blues undertook a bucket collection on behalf of the CLIC / Sargeant Children's Cancer Charity.

The following letter has been received from Claire McAuley, Event Fundraising Manager of CLIC / Sargeant.

"Many thanks for holding a bucket collection on our behalf on Saturday April 5. I'm delighted to tell you that the children collecting raised £320.78. The money raised will go towards the Kick for Children with Cancer appeal.

CLIC / Sargent Northern Ireland acts as a lifeline keeping families together when the unimaginable happens. We provide clinical, psychosocial, emotional and financial care and support to these children and their families. We do this through our Youth programme, Play Specialist programme, Family Support Service, home from home accomodation and support from Care Professionals at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and Belfast City Hospitals.

Once again many thanks for your support. It really does make a difference to the lives of children and young people living with cancer or leukaemia throughout Northern Ireland."
