The Junior Blues Linfield mascots for Saturday's Irish League game away to Portadown were cousins, Andrew McCrea and Darren McCracken.

10 year old Andrew is a pupil at Forthriver Primary School and he names Peter Thompson as his favourite Linfield player.

7 year old Darren is a pupil at Harmony Primary School and he names Jim Ervin as his favourite Linfield player.

A proud grandfather was John McCrea, the golden goal seller who watched his two grandsons lead out the newly crowned Irish League Champions.

Thanks to Philip Mitchell of Umbro and Stephen Dickson of the Linfield Superstore who arranged the loan of the new kit for the occasion.

Andrew also took part in the half time game against the Junior Ports.
