Londonderry Bluestar big day out

Londonderry Bluestar Under 12s were due to take part in a mini soccer game on the Windsor Park pitch at half time in the recent France v England Under 19 Championship final.

Unfortunately, they were prevented from doing so due to the torrential rain on the evening of the game.

However, IFA chief William Campbell very generously offered the boys the opportunity to play at half time in the Northern Ireland v Azerbaijan World Cup fixture by way of compensation.

Thanks are extended to Trevor Roulston and Ian Doherty from Londonderry Bluestar who transported the lads from the Maiden City to Windsor Park.

William Campbell also very generously provided additional tickets for the Railway Stand for the Azerbaijan game and these have been made available to Junior Blues members.
