Successful day on Windsor pitch

Not even the drizzle could spoil the day for the 60 Junior Blues members who took to the Windsor Park pitch before and at half time in Saturday's match with Loughgall.

All the Junior Blues enjoyed taking part in various football games on the hallowed turf and they also formed a guard of honour for the two teams.

The young people presented a donation to Mark Picking to pass on to the Reece Spence Memorial Fund.

Keilie Kirk presented a donation to the Alan Boyd Memorial Fund on behalf of the Dungannon Ladies LSC.

All the young people on the Windsor Park pitch were a credit to themselves, their families and the Junior Blues.

The Junior Blues are grateful to the various parents who accompanied them on to the pitch to ensure the smooth running of the proceedings.

Thanks are also due to David Chisholm, Gary Thompson, Radio Linfield and the Viewing Lounge Staff who permitted the use of the Bass Lounge.

Playing on the Windsor Park pitch was a reward for the Junior Blues members who took part in or contributed towards the recent sponsored walk to Ballyskeagh.
