The Junior Blues will be making small donations to the Alan Boyd Memorial Fund and the Reece Spence Memorial Fund.

Alan Boyd was a 15 year old member of the Dungannon LSC who died before Easter in a tragic accident. The Dungannon LSC want to raise funds for a memorial on the site of Alan's death and they want to present a momento to Alan's family in memory of the teenager.

Reece Spence was a Linfield mascot at Windsor Park in February 2004 and he passed away on 31 May 2004.His sister Jade plays in one of the Linfield Ladies teams and the most recent issue of the Shankill Mirror reveals that Reece's mother has set up an appeal fund to raise money for research into the rare disease which 7 year old Reece suffered from.

Mark Picking is to run in the Belfast marathon to raise money for the appeal.
